Analyse Local

Over half of all local authorities in England rely on Analyse Local to provide an accurate forecast of threats to rateable value. To assist budgetary planning, the company provides accurate and timely information on the movement of the rating list. Forecasts are updated with the latest data every week, and any assistance and support is provided with any audit enquiry made in respect of the undertaken analysis.

Furthermore, over 200m of missed rateable value identified by Analyse Local has been included in the rating list. This has resulted in £180m backdated liability and £96m being retained by our clients. This product was developed in association with the Institute of Revenues Rating and Valuation (IRRV) and, unlike rating surveyors who undertake rateable value appeals, Analyse Local has no potential conflict of interest issues.

Analyse Local also provides online business rates learning, an interactive software application that offers training and guidance in all aspects of business rates administration. The company also provides expert advice on individual cases, delivered by its team of RICS valuation practitioners.
